The Presidency will host an expert conference about the antibiotic resistance threat on 17 September in Stockholm.
The aim is to explore ways of creating incentives for the development of new drugs. Such incentives could be changes in the regulatory mechanisms, innovative financial instruments or other innovative mechanisms.
This expert meeting targets an audience of EU policy-makers, executive officers and experts from the public health sector and also industry trade associations.
