Meeting of inspectors and responsible authorities on behalf of Heads of Medicines Agencies from European Economic Area-EEA countries (EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) and with participation of representatives of Swiss authorities, competent for taking actions to prevent and stop counterfeit of health products and any illegal manufacturing/distribution or breach of the whole supply chain of medicinal products.
The main goal of this meeting is to analyse and define strategies and actions to combat counterfeiting of health products contributing to the protection of public and animal health and welfare and ensuring adherence to the regulation of the manufacturing and distribution chains, the disruption of illegal activities and the sharing of information.
This meeting includes a third day to incorporate dedicated training to WGEO members.
